INSPECTIONS
Periodic testing, or an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), is a comprehensive inspection of a property’s electrical system to check for faults and deterioration – and to make sure it is in a safe working order.
Electrical inspections aren’t compulsory for homeowners, however they are recommended. Early detection of electrical faults reduces the risk of electric shocks and electrical fires.

PAT TESTING
PAT testing, or Portable Appliance Testing, is an electrical test and inspection of any moveable appliance (e.g. fridge, washing machine). Although not a legal obligation in the UK, there is legislation that states businesses must maintain electrical equipment in a safe condition.
